EFFECT PAINTS
An effect paint is a paint that has special color effects due to its chemical or pigmented composition. While in the 1950s metallic paints and, from the 70s, pearlescent paints were the first effect paints to be painted on vehicles, today Xirallic paints and interference paints, also called iriodin paints, are enjoying great popularity. Effect paints can be recognized by the fact that the effect changes in relation between viewing angle and light reflection. Effect paints are almost always 2-coat or 3-coat basecoats, which are sealed with clearcoats.
As a manufacturer of effect paints Starpaint covers a complete program. In addition to the standard effect paints, we also offer candy paints, airbrush paints, pinstripe paints, rust paints, chrome paints, chameleon paints, mirroring technology, electric paint, effect flakes, crystal paint, crackle paints, thermoactive paints, phosphorescent paints, fluorescent paints, water transfer printing and car refinish mixing systems.
